Go to a hardware store (Lowes, Home Depot) and get a watering timer to go off at a certain time every day to water your lawn with a sprinkler. Usually set it for night because that is the best time to water. During the day the water will act as a magnifying glass and heat the grass, flowers and can burn them and they will surely die.
